Mystery Authors (alphabetical)

I've been reading mysteries for about 30 years and reviewing them for the last four ... I estimate I have read about 2,000 mysteries. (I know, "Get a life.") But then, I'm a fast reader, devouring 2-3 books a week, even while working full-time. In this section, you can learn about some of my favorite mystery authors. Many of them have complete profiles, including book lists, bios and (in some cases) author interviews. Some are newcomers (Clea Simon) and some are classics (Harry Kemelman). Although Mr. Kemelman is no longer with us, his wonderful books remain in print and he's well worth seeking out.
